Louis Vuitton opens his first outlet in Lebanon

French luxury designer Louis Vuitton has now a home in Lebanon. The luxury French brand has announced the opening of its first outlet in Lebanon on Thursday.
Louis Vuitton SA is the latest name to appear in Beirut's designer-studded central district.
At the opening, the brand executive manager Yves Carcelle said: "For many years, the maison has maintained strong relations with Lebanese clientele and is proud to reiterate its engagement by offering a new store which respects the Beirutis' heritage and patrimony".
He also said: "Here, the market is cultural and historically strong. It is almost bizarre not to have a store here."
At the opening, CEO Carcalle was asked about the identity of Louis Vuitton’s competitors, but he doesn't answer and has deciding to end the news conference: “It’s time for champagne.” We'll see soon the results...
